I found this shop recommend on my neighborhood FB page, and unfortunately did not have the same experience as others. To keep this post as short as possible I'm reviewing the main/biggest problem I encountered here. My car was brought in immobile, and I was told that a new steering wheel lock cylinder would fix the problem and have my car running again, so I agreed to have it put on. They called me a couple days later to tell me that part did not fix the problem, and they would continue looking. I asked for the part to be taken off, and the old one put back on, since I obviously didn't need this part to begin with. Of course willing to pay for any labor. TJ refused. Given this information, I had my car towed somewhere else. (I didn't want to continue paying for parts I didn't need, seeing how this place does business and forces you to pay for misdiagnosed parts.) It was there for 2 months and left in worse shape it was when I took it in. I also no longer trusted their ability to actually fix my car. They made me pay for this part to have it towed. $650. Once the new mechanic looked at my car- they found the part Twin City Automotive put on was actually defective- did not work at all. They put the previous OEM part back on the car (because I asked for it back luckily), and sure enough the functions on the car for that part were restored. I called and spoke with TJ and Wesley about this, and was hung up on 3 times. They told me they would not be "helping me", and treated me horribly. TJ said they would not even swap the part out for a working part. (Afterall, I did pay for it and would like to have a working one to sell and get some money back.) Yes, I recorded all 3 conversations and have proof of everything. Not only did they make me pay $650 for a part I didn't need, but a part that didn't even work. This place has very unethical and shady business practices, and I highly recommend taking your car elsewhere. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by an auto shop.
